Understand the complete Math of HRA like this

Under 7th Pay Commission, when DA exceeds 25 percent, HRA will also increase. Its rate will increase from 8, 16, 24 percent to 9, 18 and 27 percent.

Under this, the employees will get a minimum benefit of Rs 5400 and a maximum of Rs 8100 per month.

For example, if someone’s basic salary is Rs 30,000, then he will get the benefit of HRA of about Rs 5400 to Rs 8100 per month.
