A financial assistance of Rs 72,000 will be provided by the government for married couples. However, the concerned couple will also have to deposit Rs 200 per month for the same. With the aim of making women self-reliant, the government had started the scheme under the National Pension Scheme. To register under the scheme, it is necessary to have a bank savings or Jan Dhan account and Aadhar card. The registration process takes 2 to 3 minutes.

In this way, he will have to deposit a total of 36 thousand rupees. Thereafter, on reaching the age of 60 years, the person will get Rs 3,000 per month and after the death of the person half of the pension or Rs 1,500 per month for his spouse. On the other hand, if both husband and wife are eligible for this scheme, then both can be part of it. After this, on completion of 60 years, both will jointly get a pension of Rs 6,000 per month or Rs 72,000 annually.
