The T20 World Cup will begin on October 16 with the qualifying round and will see four teams advance to the Super 12 stage to join the top eight teams.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 will begin next month in Australia, where a total of 16 teams will compete for the World T20 title. The competition will begin on October 16 with the qualifiers and will see four teams advance to the Super 12 stage to join the top eight teams in the ICC T20 rankings.

The winner of Group A and the winner of Group B will advance to Group 1 of the Super 12 round, while the winner of Group B and the winner of Group A will be drawn to Group 1 of the Super 12 round. The opening match of the Super 12 series will be between New Zealand and Australia on October 22.

The final of the tournament will be held on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Australia is the reigning champion, having won the tournament in the UAE last year.
