CTET 2022: CBSE issued important notice: check application, exam date, admit card and other details

CBSE issued important notice: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released an important notice regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

As per the notice, the 16th edition of CTET in CBT (Computer Based Test – Online) mode will be held between December 2022 and January 2023.

The exact date of examination will be mentioned on the admit cards of the candidates, the CBSE notice read.

CTET Key Highlights

The online application-process will be start from 31-10-2022 (Monday)The last date for submitting online application is 24-11-2022 (Thursday) up to 23:59 hours.The fee can be paid up to 25-11-2022 (Friday) before 15:30 hoursApplication fee applicable for CTET Dec-2022General/OBC: Rs 1000 (Only Paper I or II) & Rs 1200 for both Paper I & IISC/ST/Diff-Abled Person: Rs 500 (Only Paper I or II) and Rs 600 for both Paper I & II

Other Details & Instructions

The examination city of candidates’ choice will be allotted on first cum first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination(CBSE issued important notice).The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first cum first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city(CBSE issued important notice).If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city or cancel the transaction.If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his/her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET.
