Latest Weather Update for Jammu Kashmir – Rain/ snow expected
A fresh Western Disturbance will affect Jammu and Kashmir from today morning. Under its influence, light to moderate rain/snow is expected at most places in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (currently raining in few areas).
Generally, light to moderate rain & snow is expected at most places in Kashmir plains. However, there is a slight possibility (13% chances) of heavy snowfall at a few places. Temperatures may hover around 4-5°C in some places. So, rain can also be there in plains.
Some higher reaches may record up to 3-4 feet of snow in the next 3 days. Overall intensity day-wise as per the latest forecast (subject to change): 11 Jan > 13 Jan > 12 Jan
