Gurez Valley
Gurez is a small valley located in the north Kashmir Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is a beautiful valley that is surrounded by high mountains and lush green forests, and is known for its unique culture and traditions. However, during the winter months, the valley faces several challenges that impact the lives of its residents, including the opening of schools.
The harsh winter conditions in Gurez often lead to the closure of schools, which can have a significant impact on the education of children in the valley. The heavy snowfall and blocked roads make it difficult for students and teachers to travel to schools.
