Government Teacher Suspended for Private Coaching Centre Activities in Anantnag
Srinagar, May 18: The Department of Education has taken action against a government teacher in Anantnag district, Kashmir, for engaging in teaching activities at a private coaching centre. The teacher, identified as Mr. Bilal Ahmad Lone, who is currently assigned to Model Boys Higher Secondary in Anantnag, has been suspended with immediate effect pending an investigation into his conduct.
The order for Mr. Bilal Ahmad Lone’s suspension was issued by the Department of Education in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules 1956.
The suspension comes as a result of Mr. Lone’s violation of Rule 10 of the J&K Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1971, Chapter (IV) Section 28 of the RTE Act, 2009, and circular number 49-JK(Edu) of 2022, dated 17.11.2022.
According to the order obtained by news agency, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Lone will remain under suspension until the investigation into his conduct is completed. During this period, he will be attached to the principal District Institute of Education and Training in Anantnag.
The suspension of the government teacher highlights the importance of adhering to rules and regulations regarding the conduct of public servants.
