Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional entrance examination (JKBOPEE) released notification regarding the Conduct of Counselling (Physical) for Admission to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Lateral Entry, 2023: notifying of the counselling schedule thereof.
Information we got for an educational news portal JKSA — JK STUDY ALERTS, JKBOPEE on 10th of August 2023 released notification to Conduct of Counselling (Physical) for Admission to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Lateral Entry, 2023.
The Board vide Notification No.042-BOPEE of 2023 dated. 19.07.2023 had declared the
result of Common Entrance Test conducted by the Board on 09.07.2023 and notified the
Provisional Merit List of the candidates who had appeared in the said test for admission to
General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Lateral Entry, 2023 in the Government/Private Institutions
of the UT of J&K and the candidates were asked to submit their representations against his/her
result, if any, within three days from the date of issuance of the said Notification physically at the
respective BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar . In response thereof no representation was received
from any candidate and the merit List as such was final.
Now, it is hereby notified for information of all the concerned candidates that the Board
shall conduct the Physical Round of Counselling of only those candidates who have secured upto
20 marks out of 120 marks in the Common Entrance Test i.e. upto Rank 1131 in the Provisional
Merit List. As such the candidates upto the Rank 1131 are hereby advised to participate in the
counselling as per the following schedule:
All the eligible/interested candidates are advised to report physically at BOPEE Office
Jammu/Srinagar on the above dates between 08.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. for attendance and
registration along with the following documents in original:
(i) Domicile Certificate;
(ii) FMPHW/MMPHW/ANM Diploma;
(iii) Valid Category Certificate, if applicable;
(iv) Date of Birth Certificate (Diploma/10th Class Marks Card)
All the participating candidates shall deposit the Counseling fee of Rs.1000/-(Rupees one
thousand only) through the POS Machines available at the BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through
Debit/Credit cards. Any candidate who fails to deposit the counselling fee shall not be allowed to
participate in the counselling process.
Further, if any, candidate is not able to participate personally in the counselling on
designated day & date of Counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, he/she can authorize
his/her close family member who falls in his/her blood relation on the devised format of the
Board to participate in the counselling on behalf of the concerned candidate. The said authorized
person had to submit the authorization letter along with his Identity Card and Aadhar Card during
the process of counseling otherwise he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling
on their own risk and responsibility.
The Board shall stop the counselling process immediately as and when the seats are fully
exhausted.
