Srinagar (JKSA): Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education is going to conduct Annual (Private) / Biannual exams in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and UT Ladakh soon.
As we all know, JKBOSE is now conducting all exams as per uniform academic calendar under NEP 2020.
First time in J&K History Board was able to conduct Annual Regular exams of session 2022 - 23 in March session for Both Jammu Division and Kashmir Division at a time.
To conduct exam successfully in March session, Department of School Education Divided Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and UT of Ladakh into two zones, Soft Zones (Areas where weather remain good in month of March) and Hard Zones (Weather remain bad in these areas in month of March).
Board firstly conducted exams in Soft Zones successfully in month of March and then Hard Zones in month of April, and following uniform academic calendar, Board Released Results of all classes in months of June and July.
Now talking about Annual (Private)/ Biannual Exams, As per official notification issued by Government of Jammu and Kashmir (Department of School Education) a copy of which we got for JKSA -- JK STUDY ALERTS, Biannual exams of all classes will be conducted in month of August.
It is now almost impossible that, JKBOSE will conduct Bi-annual exams in month of August but it is expected that Board will start Biannual exams from the last week of August or 1st week of September. JKBOSE didn't have released any official notification regarding the Biannual exam date.
Most probably Biannual exams will start from 1st or 2nd week of September.
As per order issued by Government of Jammu Jammu and Kashmir (Department of School Education) Annual Private/Bi-annual examination in Union territory of Jammu & Kashmir/ Union territory of Ladakh shall be held in the month of August and its result shall be declared in the month of October.
