JKBOTE released Provisional Selection List For Lateral Entry Admissions(Polytechnics) 2023
Srinagar (JKSA): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education released Provisional/Final Selection List of candidates for admission to Three Year Diploma Programme in 3rd semester under Lateral Entry System
Information we got for an educational news portal JKSA — JK STUDY ALERTS, Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education released Provisional Merit List of candidates for admission to Three Year Diploma Programme in 3rd semester under Lateral Entry System on 17th of August 2023.
After 7 days, this year JKSBOTE released Provisional Selection List For Lateral Entry Admissions(Polytechnics) 2023 directly without inviting students for councelling.
In pursuance of Notification No. 26-BOTE of 2023 dated 20-03-2023, the candidates have applied online for the admission in three years diploma programmes under Lateral Entry System in 3 semester in all the polytechnics of UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh.
Provisional Merit List of candidates for admission under Lateral Entry System, inviting of objections thereof was issued vide this office Notification No. 46-BOTE of 2023 dated 17-08-2023. The objections received have been incorporated in the provisional merit list wherever found genuine.
In view of the above, the candidates as per their merit-cum preferences/counselling are hereby provisionally selected for admission year – 2023 in various Polytechnics of Union Territory of J&K and UT Ladakh under lateral entry system in 3rd semester as per the Annexure “A” to this notification which is available on website of the Board (www.jksbotelive.com) only along with waiting list.
The provisionally selected candidates are advised to report to their respective allotted polytechnics w.e.f. 24-08-2023 to 31-08-2023 (05.00 PM) along with the following documents in original:-
1. Marks Card of 10TH class.
2. Marks Card of 12TH class with pass in Physics, Chemistry and Math.(for those students who have selected on the Basis of 10+2)
3. Technical certificates (ITI/Poly) (for those students who have selected on the
Basis of ITI)
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Category Certificate, if any
6. Any other certificate/document as required by the College/Institution.
The candidates are advised to report to the allotted polytechnics up to 31-08-2023 positively. It shall be sole responsibility of the Polytechnics concerned to ensure proper check and verification of documents/ eligibility before the candidate is allowed for admission in 3rd semester under Lateral Entry System and in case of any discrepancy in the requisite documents; the same shall be reported to the Board for further course of action under rules.
In order to complete admission process within the prescribed cut-off date (31-08-2023) the Principal Polytechnics are requested to designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates to complete their admission process well In time.
In case of unemployed candidates: An affidavit/undertaking from 1st class magistrate by the candidate that he/she is not on the role of any other Govt./Private Education Institution nor he/she is employed in any Govt./Private sector.
